Overview of Role

As a Senior Product Owner on our Innovation Team, you will be a pivotal leader in defining and executing the strategy for our services accelerators. Leveraging your proven history of successfully leading critical product development lifecycles, you will oversee the creation and delivery of repeatable, pre-packaged solutions that empower our clients to solve complex challenges on Google Cloud Platform with speed and efficiency. You will act as the strategic voice of the customer and the market, translating intricate needs into a compelling product vision and comprehensive strategy. You'll lead, mentor, and collaborate closely with dedicated product teams of engineers and designers to build, launch, and continuously iterate on these impactful solutions, driving significant business outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our professional services offerings and have a direct impact on our clients' success and our company's growth.

Responsibilities
  • Define Product Vision & Strategy: Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product(s) in the services accelerator portfolio. This includes conducting market research, analyzing customer feedback, and identifying key opportunities.
  • Backlog Management: Create, maintain, and prioritize a detailed product backlog, ensuring the team is always working on the most valuable features.
  • Lead the Product Team: Work daily with a cross-functional team of engineers, architects, and designers, serving as the primary liaison between them and key stakeholders. You'll clarify requirements, answer questions, and ensure the team is aligned with the product vision.
  • Go-to-Market Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and our professional services teams to ensure successful launches and adoption of new accelerators. You'll help develop sales enablement materials, product documentation, and client-facing presentations.
  • Measure & Iterate: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of your products. Use data-driven insights to inform your product decisions and plan future iterations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar leadership role, with a demonstrated history of successfully leading critical product development lifecycles in a B2B or professional services environment.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure). A background in cloud consulting or architecture is a significant plus.
  • Agile Expertise: Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a deep understanding of backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user story creation.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. You can break down complex problems into manageable, actionable user stories and tasks.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You can articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are a self-starter who is passionate about building new products from the ground up and comfortable with the ambiguity that comes with innovation.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid (office and remote) environment in Bengaluru or Pune.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related or equivalent work experience required.
