We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Risk Management to join our team at American Express. As a Senior Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies and risk management solutions using advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Driving the analysis and interpretation of complex data to inform business decisions
• Collaborating with technology and other teams to implement risk management approaches and business strategies
• Identifying and evaluating new data sources to drive business growth and improvement
• Developing and implementing process improvements and automation using optimization algorithms and models
• Communicating complex analysis to technical and non-technical audiences

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Econometrics, Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in risk analysis and data analysis to drive business strategy
• Experience with SQL query development, database architectures, and data manipulation languages, including SQL and SAS
• Proficiency in Cognos, ETL tools, Python, R, Tableau, Teradata, MS Excel, and VBA
