• Total hours: 20 hours per week or 4 hours per day
• Monday - Friday
• Flexible during the client's business hours - following Calgary, Alberta time (MDT)

Job Description:This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled video editor and motion graphics animator to join a growing production house where creativity meets strategy. You’ll work on diverse projects ranging from short-form social content to comprehensive corporate videos, while also playing a key role in building the company’s own brand through marketing materials and YouTube content. The role offers the perfect balance of client-focused deliverables and creative brand-building work, with the potential to grow from part-time to full-time based on performance and mutual fit. This position is ideal for someone seeking to establish a long-term partnership with an established business that values both technical excellence and creative collaboration. Responsibilities:

• Edit video content for corporate and commercial clients with varying lengths (30 seconds to 10+ minutes)
• Create motion graphics and animations for client deliverables
• Edit YouTube content for content creator clients
• Produce marketing materials and brand content for the company’s own business growth
• Work on both revenue-generating client projects and internal brand-building content
• Maintain quality standards and turnaround times consistent with client expectations
• Collaborate directly with the business owner on project requirements and deliverables

Scope:

• Mix of client work (revenue-generating) and internal marketing/brand content

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing with strong portfolio demonstrating quality work
• Proficiency in motion graphics and animation (specifically motion graphics, not cartoon animation)
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines across various project types and lengths
• Strong communication skills for direct collaboration with business owner
• Flexibility to work within Calgary time zone or agreed-upon schedule
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining consistent output quality
