This role operates as a 1099 Independent Contractor position aligned with the school district’s calendar, with immediate start dates available following the completion of the application and training process. Key Responsibilities • Access a dedicated educator portal to choose from an array of teaching assignments that correspond with your certification. • Inspire and engage students in a virtual learning environment to enhance motivation and learning outcomes. • Design and implement effective strategies that support student academic success and foster meaningful relationships. • Develop lesson plans that align with the designated curriculum for your courses. • Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining precise records of performance and grades. Required Skills • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Capability to motivate and engage students in a digital learning context. • Proficiency in creating lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. • Skills in tracking and assessing student progress effectively. Qualifications • Authorization to work in the United States and possession of a valid professional teaching license in any STEM subject from the state of New York. • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. • Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection. • Completion of a Virtual Skills Teaching Demonstration and submission of a background check as part of the application procedure. • Previous online teaching experience is an advantage.
