Skills • Proven experience as a Typist, Data Entry Clerk, or Data Entry Operator • Fast typing skills; proficiency in touch typing is a plus • Familiarity with data recorders and optical scanners • Strong knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets • Proficiency with office equipment • Excellent command of the English language • Attention to detail with the ability to spot grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors • Commitment to confidentiality Responsibilities • Convert data from paper formats into digital files or database systems • Transcribe documents from dictated recordings • Take detailed notes during meetings and create clear, organized texts • Edit completed work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors • Gather and organize typing materials effectively • Create spreadsheets and presentations by combining data from existing files • Maintain both physical and digital filing systems • Scan and print files as needed • Uphold confidentiality in accordance with security policies Qualifications • High school diploma; additional computer training or certification is a plus Education Requirements • High school diploma Education Requirements Credential Category • High school diploma or equivalent Experience Requirements • Proven experience as a Typist, Data Entry Clerk, or Data Entry Operator Why work in Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles offers a vibrant atmosphere filled with diverse cultures, entertainment, and career opportunities.
