Job title: Anticipated LTS High School Business Teacher Company: Cumberland Valley School District Job description : Position requires a valid PA Secondary Business certification. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of secondary school-aged students and good communication skills. Previous high school as a business teacher is preferred. Candidate must understand and be able to teach the approved curriculum. The professional candidate(s) selected for this assignment understands and agrees that they may be required to teach in a blended or online format as requested by administration. Knowledge of student development at the secondary school level is essential. Experience incorporating technology seamlessly into lessons is desired. The ability to develop instructional groups and deliver a comprehensive instruction based on the needs of the students using student data is a must. Willingness to work as part of a team is required. In addition to being qualified and knowledgeable in the specific area of certification required, we are seeking individuals trained in: Differentiated Instruction Assessment - Rubrics Collaborative Learning Learning Styles Integrated Curriculum Inclusion Technology Skills Data interpretation for classroom/school improvement planning If hired for employment, the applicant must be able to submit the following: * Criminal Record Check (less than one year old) PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old) FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old) TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old) Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old) Applicants requiring assistance or needing any accommodations for an employment test or interviewing process are asked to advise us in advance.
