Looking for a skilled Accounting Manager - Procas Expert & 100% Remote! Based in Remote, this role is available for an immediate start. This position requires a strong skillset in relevant areas. A salary of Competitive salary is offered. Accounting Manager – 100% Remote About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a long-standing government contractor in the DMV.
• Due to a vacancy, they are hiring an Accounting Manager to work 100% Remote.
• Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours 8a-5p.
• Duration: indefinite - possible contract-to-hire depending on needs of the business, performance, and fit.
• Pay: $55-57/hr based on experience.

Overview of the Accounting Manager role:

• Utilize PROCAS Accounting, Timekeeping, and Expense Reporting Software extensively.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks.
• Assist in monthly book closings and prepare regular financial reports.
• Ensure project costs and expenses comply with contractual obligations and Government regulations.
• Develop, analyze, and prepare cost proposals for government and commercial clients.
• Support end-of-year tax documentation processes.
• Understanding of DCAA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Procas experience is a plus
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
