Lecturer in Psychology (Social Psychology)

The Department of Psychology at Brandeis University, has an immediate opening for an instructor to teach the following course during the remainder of the spring 2025 semester. The syllabus for this course has already been created and the course is underway. ? PSYC 34b ? Social Psychology: An introduction to theory and research on the psychological processes that relate the individual to the larger social world in terms of behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. Topics include attitudes, social perception, prejudice and discrimination, attraction, behavior in groups, and the role of culture. The class meets M,W,Th 1:20 PM?2:10 PM. Candidates with Ph.D. in Psychology or a related discipline, and previous university-level teaching experience in a related course, will be given preference. This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509.
