About the position The National Account Executive role at Cigna Healthcare involves strategic account management for large and complex national accounts, focusing on sales of additional products and services to existing clients. The position requires the execution of sales strategies to meet revenue targets, managing major account relationships, and collaborating with the national accounts sales force. This role is pivotal in driving growth and improving client relationships while ensuring a deep understanding of customer objectives and delivering Cigna's value proposition effectively. Responsibilities • Manage a disciplined account engagement process with defined goals and strategies. , • Develop deep customer relationships to understand their objectives. , • Act as a trusted strategic consultative partner for customers. , • Articulate Cigna's value proposition and tell the Cigna story effectively. , • Demonstrate a data-driven, solutions-based approach to drive results. , • Execute the end-to-end sales process for bids placed by customers. , • Exhibit self-motivated ownership of metric-driven results with urgency. , • Show internal and external leadership qualities. , • Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement. , • Champion change within Cigna to anticipate market trends and offer leading products and services. , • Manage a client base of one to three medical clients. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of proficient knowledge in healthcare/managed care business. , • Bachelor's degree highly preferred. , • Successful track record as a leader, administrator, negotiator, and salesperson. , • Strong persuasion and effective communication skills. , • Excellent relationship-building abilities. , • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills. , • Ability to develop strong working relationships with matrix partners. , • Customer-focused with a strong ability to meet expectations. , • Ability to obtain necessary licenses. , • Effective speaking and presentation skills.
