Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person year-round private pre-K/kindergarten homeschool teacher for an almost 5 year old boy Monday-Friday, either mornings (9am-12pm) OR afternoons (1pm-4pm) at his home in SW Jacksonville, FL 32234. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time tutoring job that pays $35/hour ($105/visit). The start time for this opportunity is flexible... and can begin any time this summer, but must continue into the fall. Looking for an experienced late pre-K or early elementary educator with a BA or on your way to receiving your BA in education, to teach academic essentials, fundamental life skills, age-appropriate materials and education-related activities to a 4 year old student Monday-Friday for three hours in the mornings or afternoons, and provide him with an early academic foundation. Applicants should be able to use appropriate materials to create engaging lesson plans for the purpose of working with the child. Parents are open to collaborating with the teacher about which curriculum is used. Looking for a teacher who is engaging, fun & playful, friendly, empathetic and energetic with positive energy. The right teacher should have experience with and be comfortable teaching this age group, and understand how to engage them.
