As a United Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be an ambassador of our brand and a pivotal part of the inflight team, ensuring the safety, comfort, and care of our passengers. Responsibilities
– Ensure the utmost safety and comfort of all passengers.
– Perform pre-flight cabin checks and ensure all safety equipment is ready and functional.
– Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting passengers, and responding to their needs during the flight.
– Provide clear and concise in-flight instructions and demonstrations.
– Serve snacks, meals, and beverages, and sell onboard duty-free goods.
– Manage emergency situations if they arise, and adminstrate first aid to passengers as needed.
– Attend pre-flight briefings and study all details of the flight.
– Lead passengers in case of emergency and provide instructions.
Requirements
– Minimum age of 21.
– High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in hospitality or relevant field is a plus.
– Excellence in spoken and written English.
– Ability to communicate and work effectively in a global environment.
– Must pass a background check and drug screen.
– Adherence to United Airlines’ grooming standards.
– Capability to operate aircraft safety equipment.
– Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
– Must be able to reach overhead bins and stand for long periods.
Education Qualifications
– High School Diploma or GED required.
– Associates or Bachelors degree in hospitality, communication, or related fields preferred.
Experience
– Previous customer service experience highly preferred.
– Prior experience in aviation, hospitality, or related services is beneficial but not mandatory.
