Job Description
As an Amazon Flex Delivery Partner, you will be responsible for delivering packages to Amazon customers within your selected delivery area. This is an independent contractor role, where you can set your schedule and work as few or as many hours as you desire, under 4 hours per day.
Responsibilities
– Use the Amazon Flex app to plan your delivery route and handle package deliveries efficiently and promptly.
– Safely drive and operate your vehicle at all times.
– Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
– Communicate effectively with customers and handle their packages with care.
Requirements
– Must have a valid and current U.S. driver’s license.
– Must be at least 21 years old.
– Must have a qualifying vehicle (4-door sedan, pickup truck, or van) with valid insurance.
– Must have a smartphone for the Amazon Flex app (iPhone 5s or later, Android 5.0 or later).
– Should be able to lift packages (up to 50 lbs) and get in and out of the vehicle.
– Should have good knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns in your delivery area.
Educational Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience
Prior delivery driving experience is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
