We are seeking a talented and experienced YouTube Video Explainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for science, trending topics, social trends, and current issues, coupled with excellent storytelling abilities and strong research skills. Responsibilities... • Create engaging and informative explainer videos on a variety of scientific topics, trending subjects, social issues, and current events. • Conduct in-depth research to gather accurate and up-to-date information for video content. • Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate complex ideas in an accessible manner. • Stay updated on emerging trends, news, and topics to ensure content remains relevant and engaging. • Utilize creative hooks and storytelling techniques to capture and maintain viewers' attention. • Develop visually appealing and dynamic video presentations that enhance understanding and retention. • Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm ideas, plan video concepts, and refine scripts. • Maintain a consistent and professional on-screen presence, delivering content with clarity and confidence. • Incorporate feedback from team members and audience insights to continually improve video quality and effectiveness. • Monitor video performance metrics and audience feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., communications, journalism, science) preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience creating YouTube explainer videos, with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling prowess and research skills. • Proficiency in conducting thorough research and synthesizing complex information into clear, engaging content. • Excellent storytelling abilities, with a knack for captivating audiences and maintaining interest throughout the video. • Up-to-date knowledge of current trends, topics, and cultural phenomena, with the ability to incorporate them into video content. • Strong understanding of video production techniques, including editing, graphics, and visual effects. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver information in a clear and engaging manner. • Demonstrated ability to adapt to various tones and styles of voiceover, with a preference for candidates with accent versatility. • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality, innovative content. • Male candidates are preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered.
