About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive Assistant to join our team. This is a remote-first position with occasional local tasks that require being based in the Portland Metro area. As an Executive Assistant, you will be the right-hand person to the owner, helping with a variety of administrative, operational, and research-based tasks to keep the business running smoothly. Your work will focus on inbox and calendar management, scheduling and coordination, document creation and process improvement, research and outreach, supporting recruitment and onboarding, assisting with operations and marketing tasks, and occasional personal task support to help the owner stay organized and maintain work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbox and calendar management: Manage the owner's email inbox, calendar, and tasks to ensure timely and effective communication and response to stakeholders.
  • Scheduling and coordination: Schedule meetings, appointments, and events, and coordinate logistics for programs, workshops, and camps.
  • Document creation and process improvement: Create and maintain documents, reports, and processes to support business operations and improve efficiency.
  • Research and outreach: Conduct research and outreach to partners, instructors, and team members to support program development and implementation.
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding: Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including creating job postings, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new team members.
  • Assisting with operations and marketing tasks: Support operations and marketing tasks, including social media management, email marketing, and event planning.
  • Occasional personal task support: Assist the owner with light research and personal scheduling to help maintain work-life balance.

Hours and Pay Potential for this to become a full-time position for the right person (starting at 30 hours per week, with potential to increase). $19/hour with performance-based raises.
