[Remote] Freelance Marketing Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Creative Circle is seeking a Freelance Marketing Data Analyst to join their client's team, a background check company. The role involves analyzing large datasets, managing CRM and marketing automation data, and presenting insights to enable data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Extract, synthesize, and analyze large datasets from Salesforce, HubSpot, web analytics, and paid media platforms to uncover trends and measure B2B marketing performance
  • Own CRM and marketing automation data management, ensuring data integrity and acting as a subject matter expert for system structure and data flow
  • Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports tracking key marketing KPIs (lead velocity, MQL-to-SQL conversion, attribution, ROI, engagement)
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions and reporting frameworks
  • Conduct deep-dive campaign and channel performance analyses to optimize budget allocation and improve marketing effectiveness
  • Support and proactively improve data quality processes, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements to data capture and usability
  • Assist in developing and refining multi-touch attribution models to better understand the customer journey
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis, preferably within a B2B environment
  • Advanced SQL skills, with experience extracting, transforming, and joining data across multiple systems
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and HubSpot, including reporting, campaign tracking, and data architecture
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical analysis, A/B testing, and marketing performance measurement
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership teams
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI or similar preferred)
