[Remote] Software Engineer – SAP S/4HANA Functional Configurator/Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Functional Configurator to configure, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA business processes. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements, configure solutions, perform testing, and support system enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
- Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA modules to meet business needs
- Design and document business processes, functional specifications, and solution designs
- Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, and enhancement projects
- Collaborate with technical teams on developments, interfaces, reports, and integrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues within SAP environments
- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support
- Maintain system documentation and configuration records
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices
Skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Strong understanding of business processes and SAP functional configuration
- Experience in one or more SAP functional modules, such as: SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI), SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO), SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM), SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD), SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP), SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
- Knowledge of business process mapping and gap analysis
- Experience with SAP testing methodologies and defect management
- Familiarity with integration concepts and interfaces
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- SAP certification in relevant S/4HANA modules
- Experience with SAP implementation or transformation projects
- Knowledge of SAP best practices and industry standards
- Exposure to Agile and SAP Activate methodologies
