[Remote] Outside Sales Consultant

This role focuses on growing and cultivating client relationships within Michigan, emphasizing client retention, renewals, and product expansion for an established customer portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in customer meetings, business reviews, and select industry events to strengthen relationships and drive adoption
  • Own customer communication cadence, ensuring timely follow-up on requests, action items, and opportunities across your assigned accounts
  • Develop and execute account plans that support renewals, retention, and growth; maintain an active pipeline of expansion opportunities across your assigned book of business
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and maintain accurate renewal forecasting by tracking account health, risks, milestones, and next steps in partnership with internal teams
  • Proactively prospect within existing accounts (e.g., whitespace mapping, stakeholder expansion, discovery conversations) to identify, qualify, and close up-sell/cross-sell opportunities aligned to customer needs and usage trends

Skills

  • 5+ years of successful B2B account management, customer success, or consultative sales experience required; must have demonstrated ability to prospect and drive expansion within an existing customer portfolio
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record is required
  • Ability to work 100% remotely from a home office and reside within the state of Michigan
  • Travel up to 40% within assigned territory (primarily day trips)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience
  • SaaS experience and/or technology solution experience preferred
  • Experience managing renewals, retention, and expansion motions (including negotiation and forecasting) preferred
  • Customer-first, highly organized, and able to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and stakeholders with strong follow-through
