Position Overview – Senior Manager, Demand Planning & Forecasting (Remote)

The Senior Manager, Demand Planning & Forecasting will be the strategic driver behind arenaflex’s end‑to‑end demand planning process for the Americas Business Unit. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and continuously improving the demand plan for a broad portfolio that includes beverages, consumables, and equipment. Working remotely, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations—to ensure accurate forecasts, optimal inventory levels, and seamless execution of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle. This is a high‑visibility position that directly influences the company’s ability to meet consumer demand while minimizing cost and risk across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the S&OP Process: Own the demand planning component of the monthly S&OP cycle, coordinating with finance, sales, and supply chain partners to produce a consensus forecast that aligns with corporate goals.
• Develop Long‑Term Forecasts: Create and maintain a multi‑year demand plan in Anaplan, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives, new product introductions (NPD), and market trends.
• Execute Short‑Term Planning: Translate long‑term forecasts into detailed weekly and daily demand plans using Anaplan and SAP, meeting all required cut‑off times with high accuracy.
• Data Integrity & Governance: Maintain the integrity of demand data in Anaplan, performing regular data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation activities.

• Risk Management: Identify and communicate demand risks such as supply constraints, excess inventory, or product obsolescence, and develop mitigation strategies.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in demand planning within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) or retail environment.
• Proven expertise with demand planning tools such as Anaplan, SAP APO/IBP, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering high‑accuracy forecasts (target >95% forecast accuracy).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead S&OP processes and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
