[Remote] Sr. Tableau / Alteryx Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Newlineinfo Corp is an IT Services and IT Consulting company seeking a Sr. Tableau / Alteryx Administrator. The role focuses on providing end-to-end administration for Tableau and Alteryx Server, ensuring production support and security configurations.
Responsibilities
- Focus more on Tableau and Alteryx Administrator skills (not developer)
- Most important – Tableau and Alteryx Administrator work and having a production support mindset
- Seeking experience on Gitlab (CI/CD), and on Security in Tableau and Alteryx both on EC2 and at platform level
- Proven end-to-end administration experience with Tableau Server and Alteryx Server, including installation, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery (DR), security configuration, APIs, automation, and firewall
- Strong understanding of identity and authentication providers, such as SAML, Active Directory, and related integration concepts
- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals to troubleshoot server-level and user issues
- Hands-on experience independently troubleshooting performance issues related to Tableau and Alteryx Server assets, including dashboards and workflows (e.g., performance issues with Redshift-backed dashboards)
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux servers
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell and Python
- Experience with certificate management for Tableau and Alteryx environments
- Ability and willingness to provide 24x7 production support, including on-call rotations
- Willingness to learn and expand areas of knowledge
- Proven responsiveness and communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and proactive follow-through
Skills
- 10+ years of experience
