Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager – Customer Experience to join our remote product team. In this pivotal role, you will champion the voice of the customer, translate business objectives into compelling product strategies, and guide cross‑functional teams toward delivering high‑impact solutions. You will balance strategic vision with tactical execution, ensuring that every product decision drives measurable business value, enhances operational efficiency, and elevates customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

50% – Strategy & Planning

  • Deeply empathize with end users through qualitative and quantitative research, turning insights into a clear, prioritized product roadmap.
  • Translate business goals, market trends, and user needs into a cohesive product strategy that aligns with arenaflex’s growth objectives.
  • Define success metrics, establish key performance indicators, and continuously monitor analytics to assess product impact.
  • Own and groom the product backlog, making data‑driven decisions that maximize delivered value.
  • Partner with Finance to develop robust business cases, forecast revenue potential, and secure investment for new initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of competitive dynamics, synthesizing research to recommend best‑in‑class solutions and maintain market leadership.
  • Balance user‑centric design with commercial imperatives, ensuring every feature contributes to sales, efficiency, or customer delight.

20% – Delivery & Execution

  • Formulate hypotheses, conduct rapid user testing, and iterate based on feedback to validate product concepts.
  • Maintain rigorous quality and change‑control standards, documenting decisions and outcomes for transparency.
  • Create, prioritize, and accept user stories; integrate them into sprint plans and release cycles.
  • Make daily product decisions that drive incremental value while managing trade‑offs, dependencies, and risks.
  • Participate actively in stand‑ups, iteration planning, demos, and retrospectives, championing a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non‑technical language for stakeholders at all levels.

30% – People & Leadership

  • Foster collaboration across Engineering, UX, Data, and Business teams, removing impediments and accelerating delivery.
  • Advocate for modern software development practices such as paired programming, test‑driven development, and continuous deployment.
  • Serve as the product’s champion, empathizing with users and ensuring their needs remain central throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Guide junior product managers and analysts, sharing best practices in strategy, analysis, and execution.
  • Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention initiatives to build a high‑performing, diverse product team.
  • Contribute to community‑of‑practice forums, sharing insights on modern design, agile methodologies, and product leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States and age 18 or older.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on product management experience in a modern, software‑driven enterprise.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into actionable product plans.
  • Proficiency in agile frameworks, especially XP practices such as paired programming, TDD, and continuous deployment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting user research, creating user stories, and measuring product outcomes through analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of progressive product management experience, preferably within a remote or distributed team.
  • Track record of delivering customer‑focused products that achieved measurable improvements in satisfaction, adoption, or revenue.
  • Deep familiarity with competitive analysis, market segmentation, and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Proven mentorship of junior product professionals, fostering growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Experience navigating complex organizational dynamics and aligning cross‑functional priorities.
  • Passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and applying innovative solutions to real‑world problems.
