Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Consultative Selling

  • Greet every customer with a friendly, professional demeanor and assess their needs through active listening.
  • Provide accurate pricing information, recommend appropriate arenaflex products and services, and upsell complementary solutions such as design assistance, finishing options, and expedited shipping.
  • Utilize consultative techniques to anticipate customer requirements, suggest alternatives, and resolve concerns before they become issues.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of arenaflex’s print, signage, graphics, and shipping portfolio to act as a trusted advisor.

Production Management & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the full production workflow—from order entry to final delivery—ensuring each job meets arenaflex’s exacting quality standards.
  • Schedule and operate advanced digital imaging equipment, color and black‑and‑white printers, and finishing devices for complex, high‑volume orders.
  • Monitor production queues, adjust priorities in real time, and coordinate with shift teams to keep turnaround times on target.
  • Conduct final quality checks on all printed and shipped items, addressing any defects or inconsistencies immediately.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide on‑the‑spot guidance and mentorship to fellow consultants during peak periods, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Lead shift briefings, communicate production updates, and ensure seamless handoffs between teams.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members, delivering hands‑on training on POS systems, equipment operation, and arenaflex service standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with management to implement efficiency‑boosting initiatives.

Shipping Coordination & Logistics

  • Advise customers on the most cost‑effective and reliable shipping methods, explaining arenaflex’s range of carrier options, routes, and rates.
  • Prepare parcels for shipment: package items securely, apply appropriate labeling, weigh packages, and ensure compliance with carrier regulations.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of shipping supplies, reorder stock as needed, and keep the shipping area tidy and safe.
  • Track shipments, resolve any delivery issues, and communicate status updates to customers promptly.

Financial Transactions & Reporting

  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) terminal accurately, process cash, credit, and check transactions, and issue receipts.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, perform cash register reconciliations, and assist with bank deposits.
  • Ensure all financial paperwork complies with arenaflex policies and local regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in a retail, print, or shipping environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver consultative, solution‑focused customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 55 lb, and perform repetitive motions safely.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating digital printers, large‑format plotters, or finishing equipment.
  • Background in graphic design or familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a retail or service‑oriented environment.
  • Certification in shipping logistics or knowledge of carrier regulations (UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.).
