[Remote] Senior Product Manager, Navigator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gallatin AI, Inc. is focused on transforming logistics infrastructure for national security missions. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Navigator product, responsible for managing the theater tier and ensuring that logistics decisions are effectively supported through strategic product development and execution.
Responsibilities
- Set priorities for the theater tier, make the trade-offs, and defend them to engineering, leadership, and the customer in a way that earns trust
- Decide what we build and, just as importantly, what we say no to, keeping the tier focused on the decisions that matter most at COCOM and MAJCOM echelon
- Turn an ambitious multi-echelon vision into a sequenced set of bets with clear success metrics
- Run discovery directly with COCOM and MAJCOM logistics planners, J4 and Service-4 staff, and program offices, in garrison and in the field
- Write the synthesis that turns what you hear into product direction, not feature requests, and tie each decision to a mission outcome
- Stay close enough to the work that you can tell the difference between what users ask for and what they need
- Own the product lifecycle from problem statement through release and adoption, working shoulder to shoulder with engineering and design through sprint planning, demos, and field feedback
- Know whether what shipped moved the mission and be honest when it didn't
- Bring deep understanding of how the Department of War plans, buys, and fields software into every product decision
- Make sure what we build fits how theater commands operate and shorten the distance between a good idea and a fielded capability
Skills
- 7+ years in product, with ownership of complex enterprise, defense, logistics, data, or AI products
- A track record of shipping major capabilities from discovery through adoption, not just launch
- Proficiency using AI in your own work process, and a track record of shipping products that build AI into the capability they deliver
- Deep understanding of the Department of War: how it is organized, how it plans, how it buys, and what it takes to build and field software that gets used inside it
- Sharp written communication: product briefs, trade-off memos, and narratives that hold up under scrutiny
- Comfort working directly with senior stakeholders and end users, earning trust quickly with both
- Bias toward action in an environment where priorities shift as new mission and technical context emerges
- U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Background in sustainment, supply chain, theater logistics, or C2 and other operational decision-support domains
- Familiarity with joint planning and sustainment doctrine at echelon (for example TPFDD and ULN structure, classes of supply, JP 4-0)
- Experience with AI-enabled products or data platforms
- Prior time inside a COCOM, MAJCOM, or Service staff, or uniformed service
- Experience delivering software to government customers in deployed or operational environments
Benefits
- A generous equity grant
- Full healthcare coverage
- 401k
- Unlimited PTO
- The perks of working in a high-caliber, mission-driven environment
