Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with accuracy and timeliness
  • Support preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
  • Assist with cost accounting activities, inventory tracking, and manufacturing-related financial analysis
  • Help prepare cash flow reporting and daily/weekly cash activity tracking
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
  • Assist with audit requests, documentation, and internal control procedures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within accounting workflows
  • Maintain accurate records within ERP system and support data integrity initiatives

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience a plus, not required)
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger functions
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
