  • Accurately prepare individual (Form 1040) and business tax returns (Form 1120S, Form 1065)

  • You have at least 5 years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting firm
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in ProConnect Tax Online or Lacerte and Karbon (required)
  • Skilled problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communicator through video platforms like Zoom and Loom

What you can expect from the hiring process:

  • Provide a copy of your resume

  • If your background and experience appear to be a fit, we will invite you to complete a skills assessment. The assessments will take about 30 minutes to complete and you will be compensated $50 if you complete it.
  • Interview with the owner of the firm. Learn about the firm and make sure we’re a good fit! We’ll ask questions about you, your work experience, your bona fides, and may even throw in some technical questions. You’ll then have a chance to ask any questions you may have – so be sure to have some ready!
  • Complete a Kolbe personality assessment (to make sure the firm and the role are a good fit).
  • Provide 3 professional references (so we can check all the boxes).
  • Pass a background check.
  • If you're a good fit, you will meet with the owner of the firm to receive an offer and to learn about the particulars of the role and the firm.
  • An intentional onboarding and orientation process to learn how and why we do what we do.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract Projected Total Compensation: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year Benefits:
