Key Responsibilities

As a Live Chat Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding promptly and accurately to customer inquiries via live chat, ensuring that customers receive timely and effective support.
  • Providing real-time assistance and resolving issues efficiently, while maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting product or service issues, and escalating them as necessary to ensure that customers receive the best possible support.
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional tone in all communications, ensuring that customers feel valued and respected.
  • Recording and documenting interactions accurately for reference and follow-up, ensuring that customer information is up-to-date and secure.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (a college degree is preferred, but not required).
  • Strong written communication skills, with attention to grammar and tone.
  • Comfort with multitasking and using multiple systems simultaneously, including Amazon's customer service platform.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics, including customer satisfaction ratings and response times.
  • Previous customer service or chat support experience is a plus, but not required.
