Hospice Marketer

Our team is dedicated to supporting patients and their families during one of life’s most challenging moments. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced healthcare Marketer to join our team and help expand awareness of our services within a 60-mile radius of Genesee County area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to increase awareness of our hospice services
  • Build and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, case managers, discharge planners, and other external referral sources
  • Conduct regular visits to current and potential referral sources to educate on our services and assist with pending referrals
  • Organize and attend community events, health fairs, and other health related initiatives to increase awareness of our brand
  • Maintaining comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assisting consumers in accessing community resources
  • Develop market strategies, increase brand awareness, and drive patient referrals to support the company’s growth
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience

Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare marketing or other specialty that involves interacting with other health care agencies and professionals
  • High School Diploma

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in the healthcare or hospice industry
  • Strong understanding of hospice services and the needs of patients and their families
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Self-driven and reliable.
  • Skilled at maintaining professional relationships with key referral sources.
  • Flexible, with the ability to work independently and with minimal guidance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively and tactfully deal with a diverse group of patients, staff, customers, and community groups.
  • General computer proficiency
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
