Job Summary:
As the Leader, Fragrance Counter Manager, you oversee the operation and success of the Macy's fragrance counter. You are responsible for sharing your extensive product knowledge and developing and motivating a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales goals. You will partner with the Sales and Customer Experience Manager and beauty vendors to execute company and store-based events achieve sales goals.

- Recruit, train, coach, motivate and develop colleagues on policies and goals
- Lead product demonstrations and peer-to-peer training
- Use point of sale technology and applications, including handheld technology, to assist in selling and fulfilling of customer orders.
- Merchandise new receipts, process damages, testers and select merchandise to return to vendors
- Oversee presentation, organization, storing and stock replenishment
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards; comply with asset protection control procedures
- Focused on upholding Macy's dedication to fulfilling ideals of diversity, inclusion and respect that our company aspires to achieve, every day in every store and office, with every customer and associate
- 1-2 years of direct experience is preferred
- Has advanced authority and expertise in a specific brand
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- High school graduate or equivalent (general education degree or GED)
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking around the store or department
- Frequent use of computers, handheld electronic equipment and cash registers
- Reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 lbs.
