Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed systems that support our data-driven business capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and TPM, to drive business outcomes and deliver high-quality products
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other technical discussions to ensure that our systems are scalable, maintainable, and secure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in distributed systems, cloud computing, and data engineering
- Contribute to the development of arenaflex's open-source projects and participate in the open-source community
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize technical debt and implement solutions to address it
Essential Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems features or applications
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and data engineering concepts
- Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Python, Scala, or other programming languages
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases)
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI)
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., JUnit, PyUnit)
