We are looking for someone with proven excellence in an administrative role, and who is an articulate communicator verbally and electronically. DaVita is looking for an individual who will go above and beyond to extend the highest level of customer service possible. As a DaVita Practice Administrator you will need to be highly organized and compassionate. You will also need to be proactive and detail oriented. DaVita functions as a very fast-pasted work environment, so your ability to work at a high level of proficiency with little supervision is essential. We will put your multi-tasking skills to the test!If this sounds like you, continue reading!Responsibilities:Register patients for post transplant-related servicesVerify demographics and collect required documentationProcess incoming referrals and ensure all documentation is complete.Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations for transplant servicesCollaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) vendor to ensure accurate claim submissions and timely reimbursementsOversee scheduling of clinical providers and support staff to maintain adequate coverageCoordinate appointments and follow-upsAct as a liaison between the clinical transplant team, business owners, and transplant program departmentsFacilitate communication and alignment on patient care logistics, workflows, and resource needsTriage issues related to the lab business(es), EHR, and RCM vendorTrack and report business and operational metrics, including clinic volumes, referral trends, and claims performanceSupport with process optimization, improving workflows, and driving innovation as the service line growsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role; transplant or specialty care experience is a plusStrong understanding of insurance processes, prior authorizations, and claims workflowsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentialityComfortable interacting with clinical teams, vendors, and business stakeholdersWe're on a mission to revolutionize kidney care, with a vision of making integrated care the standard of care for all renal patients.
